HEY EVERYONE!
Imagine: You are sitting in a chapel with all of your peers,
quietly waiting for the most important people in your mission to walk in. You
are quietly chatting with your new peers around you and then suddenly it gets
dead quiet. You feel a presence of comfort and love start to grow in the room.
Of respect. Of hope.
Then, someone stands and everyone around you follows. You
stand up. You look toward the back of the room. As you do so, your new Mission
President and his companion walk hand in hand. Tears are running down the
President's wife's face. Tears for the sight of a room full of people dedicated
and consecrated to God. When you hear them speak for the first time, you
finally feel like you were placed in the right place.
This is what happened when I met my new mission president
for the first time, on Saturday. To say that the last few weeks came with a lot
of changes, is underestimating things. The mission split and I am officially a
part of the Cheyenne, Wyoming mission!
I am so excited to live and be a part of this mission for
the next 15 months. I will miss everyone that stayed in Colorado, but we will
all grow and become better people.
ANYWAY! How has everyone else been doing? (EMAIL ME BACK.
I'M TALKING TO YOU MY MTC DISTRICT.🔪) We had exchanges 3
times in the last 2 weeks. We are teaching a few AMAZING people on the res.
Talon is my favorite. He is a single father of two kids and has the cutest most
genuine questions about the gospel.
Spiritual Thought: I was reading a talk that was sent to me
from another missionary, and it talks about how when you are seeking personal
revelation you shouldn't expect instant answers. Ironically enough, it was an
answer to some questions of mine.
I invite you all to read “The Dots Will Connect” by Elder
Dieter F. Uchtdorf. :)
